Citigroup Securities & Derivatives Regulation Reporting Analyst in Shanghai, China

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for regulatory reporting of Markets related business. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the regulatory report are prepared and submitted with accuracy, timeliness and completeness.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and monthly regulatory reporting to SAFE/PBOC/CBIRC etc., and also ad hoc survey request from both internal and external. Need to take shift for daily BAU.

  • Ensure complies with CCCL's code of business ethics, possesses operational skills and is properly trained to use reporting systems.

  • Strictly follow the internal controls over LRR process to ensure report quality (validity, accuracy, timeliness and completeness). Those controls include but not limited to management policy, training, operating procedure, validation and performance evaluation.

  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of Atlas inventory list

  • Drive automation of local regulatory reporting to streamline reporting process

  • Perform LRR/ROC roles effectively, including but not limited to error log registration (timeliness and completeness), major issue escalation, issue resolution, change management

  • Continuous enhancements on LRR application in regular business planning and analysis

  • Ensure to organize/attend LRR related trainings, including but not limited to regulator's training, new report/report refresh training, etc.

  • Ensure timely completion of LRR related MCAs

  • Ensure LRR related data security

  • Properly follow CCCL's record management policy for LRR related documents to ensure completeness, continuity, security and traceability

  • Participant in the data governance related work and continues to improve on the data quality control.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Fundamental understanding of Markets products and regulatory policies

  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of excel/macros

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
