Teradyne Product Support Engineer in Shanghai, China

Responsibilities

Support all Teradyne field service engineers.

Support all first time/customer installations worldwide

New Test Cell Development and Support Engineering

- Customer Floor Plan Analysis and Drawings - Coordination with Test Cell Partners (Probers / Handlers / Manipulators / etc) - Creation of Training Documents and Procedures - Ability to schedule and manage Projects is desired

New Product Test Cell installations and Training at Worldwide Customer Facilities

Training of GSO (Teradyne service personal) included

Support of New and Existing Mechanical Interface Products (all tester platforms)

Coordinate all ECO (Engineering Change Order) or PUP (Planed UPgrades) activity at International (Asia) sites as needed

Coordinate all PIP (Perfect Installation Progress), activity at international (Asia) sites as needed.

-Quarterly reporting to PSG (Product Support Group) team members. -Enter new FRU’s (Field Replaceable Units), into our Fru database as required. -Travel for Training, Support, and Installation Activities Worldwide, POST COVID estimated 10% outside China travel and 25% inside China. All other Related Management tasks as required - Monitor system and new product reliability - Generate reliability reports - Assist with determining the root cause for increases/decreases in reliability

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics or equivalent courses

  • 3 to 10 years of strong technical experience and understanding of the semiconductor test industry.

    ( STD, ETS, or Nextest systems knowledge is preferred by not mandatory.)
  • Strong communication and integration skills

    (Fluent Chinese and Able to communicate in English)
