Main responsibilities 职责描述：

• Considered the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in China Customs Regulations

• Maintain Sanofi operations and compliance activities in accordance with applicable customs and import laws and regulations, Sanofi policies, procedures, and controls, in collaboration with Sanofi Global and other Sanofi local cross-functions.

• Developing and implementing internal trade compliance controls and procedures associated with the entry, classification, valuation, and country of origin of imported and exported manufacturing raw materials, finished drug products, intermediate drug substances, equipment, samples, and related recordkeeping practices.

• Managing the communication channels with major in-charge Customs and assisting with the Customs audit/disputes in collaboration with Sanofi Global and other Sanofi local cross-functions.

• Monitoring and interpreting legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including Customs, NMPA, etc.

• Analyse and identify potential opportunities of business enablement, process optimization, policy shaping, compliance improvement and trade automation coming from the development of trade policies and practices, business models.

• Collaborating with other functions to get procedures implemented, deliver training to wider groups of employees, and identify, quantify, escalate, and mitigate compliance risks and gap.

• Collaborating with internal process owners to create and maintain standard operating procedures for brokerage operations. Monitor and measure broker adherence to them.

8+ years of experience in international trade & Customs areas. Pharmaceutical industry/Supply Chain operation experience is a plus.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.

• Able to proactively build and maintain relationships within a global organization.

• Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, and administer effective trade compliance policies and processes into business operational practices.

• Extensive knowledge of import and export laws and regulations.

• Solid expertise in customs valuation, tariff classification, commodity classification, etc.

Bachelor's degree required (international relations, supply chain, law, or related field preferred)

Competent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills (English certificate holder)
