As part of the Product Creation team, design apparel for the designated product category, ensuring alignment with the brand seasonal direction and the global business needs. Design APP concepts for key accounts, collaborations, and target consumers / market (global and regional). Ensuring alignment with the brand seasonal direction and the global business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Utilize design skills to create product that meets expectations in terms of value and cost. Monitor product development to ensure style, fit, quality, detail requirements.

  • Deliver and support the team to execution seasonal Inspiration, style & product concept boards or sketches.

  • Interact and manage team members in Development and Product management to deliver the appropriate execution for the target consumer audience in a timely manner.

  • Ensure design practicality and meet merchandising business needs. Develop awareness of our channel of distribution in APAC region and able to communicate to the team.

  • Strive to create apparel that meets relevant trends and leverages the brand DNA of Style, Performance and Green where applicable.

  • Work cooperatively and manage the team on multiple projects with PM and PD team, meeting deadlines and constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects

  • Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities. Providing feedback on design ideas to improve them or identifying problems with them that need to be resolved. Establishing and maintaining design standards for company use.

  • Able to do personnel training support for subordinates' career plans and coach each other as role models.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Have designed for outdoor and or sportswear apparel for at least 3 years

  • 3+ years of management experience

  • 8-15 years experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.

  • Creativity and innovative design skills. Ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work within deadlines

  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English.
