IQVIA Lead of MedTech Technology in Shanghai, China

The Lead of MedTech Technology will lead a team of technical experts and Services Solution consultants. The leader will work closely with sales team to grow our technology business by selling IQVIA technology products and integrating with China digital ecosystems. The role will encompass strategy formulation, business development, execution of business plans, providing leadership to the IQVIA MedTech technology team, and achieving near term and long term business objectives.

As a people leader, the role is responsible for all aspects of talent management including performance reviews, salary planning, development plans, and resource planning/recruiting. Responsibilities also include the day-to-day management of personnel including project assignments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business development effort and drive business growth through IQVIA owned digital products or customized solutions.

  • Identify and leverage internal stakeholders and partnership to develop new business opportunities and drive growth ambitions

  • Build, manage and develop a high performing and results oriented team

  • Work closely with other IQVIA global and local business unites and innovate and offer an integrated digital solutions to the market.

  • Ensure a continuous focus on creating demand, and accelerating engagement and collaboration

  • Change Management, stakeholder management, Ability to drive a transformation within a well-established team of engineers

This job might be for you if:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of varied experience in digitalization experience for life science companies, especially in sales, marketing and medical area.

  • The preferred candidate should have delivery experience in CRM, DMS and any other MedTech related application implementation.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well with all levels in an organization.

  • Excellent situational awareness, social intelligence, listening, problem-solving skills

  • Collaborative and influential communication style

  • The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and skilled communicator who has demonstrated the ability to build relationships and influence others across functional boundaries.

  • He/she must have demonstrated ability to implement innovation and change.
