In FY24 the Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) Asia regional team was established with the objective of engineering scale and consistency in areas including Solution Area Go To Market (GTM), Business & Sales Operations (BSO) and Central Marketing Organisation (CMO). The SE&O team is crucial for transforming Microsoft’s commercial strategy into a regional action plan and achieving operational excellence through the lens of ensuring consistency, agility, and accountability in Asia. Our team leads cross-functional analysis and execution excellence, activating strategy and priorities by speeding up the change process and enabling Microsoft to create business impact at scale.

The Asia Central Marketing Organization (CMO) team inspires, acquires, and engages Microsoft customers by driving Connected Sales & Marketing for maximized business and societal impact. CMO accelerates the region's growth agenda through integrated marketing, experiential programs including events, and social & digital programs creating marketing signals that generate pipeline, accelerate deals for sales, and delight our customers creating MS brand love.

CMO Asia is one regional team with the following functions to enable our collective success:

  • Experienced marketing leaders in every OU (Operating Unit i.e. Area/Market) to represent and lead marketing end-to-end to the business.

  • Commercial Solution Area (CSA) Integrated Marketing with deep alignment to mainstream plays and regional scope.

  • Field Integrated Marketing with deep market and customer expertise to inform plans and deliver impact in every OU.

  • Regional Centres of Excellence for Experiential, Social, Data & Insights and Marketing Operations delivering deep domain expertise.

As the Field Integrated Marketing Manager Lead (GCR – Greater China Region – PRC, Hong Kong, Taiwan) you will be responsible for leading a team of modern marketers, orchestrating integrated marketing plans across solution plays, segments, and target audiences. You will evangelize the regional adoption of Global platforms & Global & Asia programs driving integrated experiences for our customers and creating marketing signals to enable our sellers.

You drive a digital first culture, positioning CMO Asia as a strategic driver of business growth and customer engagement. Your expertise in leveraging digital technologies and fostering a digital mindset will empower the team to effectively navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape and achieve marketing objectives with greater impact and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be a strong business thinker with deep marketing understanding, a courageous leader skilled to lead field marketers and a trusted partner to GTM and sales leaders.

You must enjoy ongoing challenges in this multi-faceted, leadership role that combines strong agility and pragmatism, business thinking, marketing thought leadership, marketing excellence and masterfully leveraging global programs to deliver the best solutions for our customers to achieve more.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Integrated Marketing Planning – Building from the regional marketing strategy, you orchestrate the formulation of the local marketing plan aligned to business strategy and priorities for GCR. You bring deep market and customer expertise to inform regional plans and deliver impact in GCR. You develop trusted partnerships with regional & local leaders and stakeholders including Solution Area Leads, Sales, Finance, Business Operations and external teams (e.g. agencies of record) to establish the appropriate marketing plan.

  • Integrated Marketing Execution – You oversee and influence senior leaders and stakeholders to land the marketing plan in GCR. You drive a digital first culture.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – You lead with data & insights to drive a high-performance marketing culture to enable connected sales and marketing outcomes. You evangelise the marketing impact in GCR and provide recommendations back to the CSA IMM team for improvement. You inspire sellers and leaders to take action on marketing signals and marketing data to build and progress pipeline. You proactively develop strategic responses based on data to specific market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and/or trends.

  • Marketing Operations – You drive the importance of operational rigor, resilience, and accountability across team. You ensure adherence to global guidance and compliance standards (e.g., accessibility, privacy, security, company brand). You effectively manage complex escalations through strategic and targeted communications with C-level executives and deliver difficult messages as needed.

  • Budget Management – Manage and track marketing budgets and spend to ensure adherence to budget principles, quarterly seasonality spend guidelines and compliance standards. You hold your team accountable and take overall accountability for the GCR marketing budget.

  • People Manager – You model, coach, care in your team’s career development. You ensure your team has a shared understanding of business objectives and the work accrues to these objectives. You lead your teams through change and resolution of complex issues or blockers. You drive change management and communication across senior leaders and stakeholders.

The successful candidate for the role will lead a Field Marketing Team responsible for:

  • Maximizing local marketing investments by fully leveraging global and regional content, marketing services, and augmenting local work aligned to global strategies

  • Championing a deep understanding of Global Demand Center (GDC), Global Engagement Programs (GEPs), and Account Based Marketing (ABM) across the region

  • Building and fostering strong partnerships with local stakeholders, namely GTM teams, sales leaders, sellers and senior leaders, to ensure that the impact of marketing is deeply felt within GCR

  • Driving collaborative partnerships with industry stakeholders and the implementation of cutting-edge marketing strategies, you shape the industry narrative and establish Microsoft as a trusted authority in Asia's ever-evolving business ecosystem

  • Taking a leadership role in ensuring all marketing execution is 100% accessible and privacy compliant

  • You will model talent stewardship and create a culture where teams can do their best work.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications :

  • 10+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience OR equivalent experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field

  • 2+ years people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 15+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience OR equivalent experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field

  • 5+ years people management experience.
