Amazon Business Operation Manager in Shanghai, China

Description

Amazon is developing infrastructure aggressively to support this growth around the world, particularly in the booming cross border business area. In our effort to support this aggressive growth around the world, we are looking for a passionate Sr. Sale Operation to turn data into actionable insights, and support answer strategic business questions.

Key job responsibilities

Sr. Sales Operation will be responsible for driving programs related to New Seller success across AM tools. This role requires operation excellence mindset and capability - most critically Invent and Simplify.

You will work with internal sales teams, AMs in particular, and derive initiatives to improve AM productivity. Your will perform deep dives to derive analytical insights, and share data driven insights to discuss & influence stakeholders, including but not limited to China sales teams, Tool Ops, PMO team, and global central functions.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, cross cultural and fast-paced environment; has persistent learning appetite, superb analytical capability, strong inter-personal & communication skills, along with an intense customer obsession and ownership. You will be expected to be innovative, yet frugal, and strong in delivering result.

A day in the life

There is no typical day as Ops lead. You could start the day with an early meeting mapping out AM SOPs, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during recent reviews, or self-studying latest tech trends you are interested in, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.

The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, program plan, to deal execution and opportunity optimization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
