Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Shaker Hts, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Shaker Heights, Ohio. This role falls within the IT industry where you will provide crucial support in resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining our ticketing system, and assisting in the onboarding of new users.

Responsibilities:

• Take on the responsibility of monitoring, assigning, and responding to requests coming through the IT helpdesk.

• Provide technical assistance and support to end users in relation to hardware, software, and systems.

• Investigate user problems, identify their sources, determine possible solutions, and carry out these solutions effectively.

• Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports of assistance in our JIRA ticketing system.

• Escalate complex issues to other IT staff members as necessary.

• Regularly interact with Business Partners to resolve support tickets.

• Install, configure, and maintain various software applications.

• Assist in the onboarding of new users by providing training on IT policies, phone logins, and company intranet.

• Provide support for any video and collaboration issues that may arise.

• Create and update project and procedure documentation when necessary.

• Participate in projects as needed and adhere to project plans. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role

• Proficient in Android Development

• Knowledge of Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies is required

• Familiarity with Database and EO/IR systems

• Experience with Active Directory is a must

• Proficiency in handling Apple Devices

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Experience in Deployments

• Familiarity with JIRA

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
