Plant Controller

This is a fully on-site position in Seward, Nebraska.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced finance professional to fulfill the role of Plant Controller at our client's production facility. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a crucial role on the plant management team in a state-of-the-art facility that has recently tripled its operational capacity. Responsibilities include providing analysis to guide decision-making, taking a leadership role in financial performance and measurement, and leading the local plant finance team. The role ensures that all plant accounting and reporting comply with US GAAP Accounting Standards and established accounting policies and procedures. Key tasks involve cost and manufacturing operations expertise, partnering with plant and business leadership, handling ERP systems, assisting in pricing decisions, managing the monthly close process, and overseeing the development of reporting systems. Additional duties include measurement and reporting of operational metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and identifying cost savings.

Hard Skills

  • Manufacturing (5+ years experience)

  • Cost accounting

  • Expertise in ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics)
