Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe HR Coordinator in Sequim, Washington
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Human Resource team as an HR Coordinator. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the Human Resource department and providing exceptional service to our employees.
About the Role:
As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative support, manage HR systems, coordinate onboarding, and assist with various HR functions. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Manage HRIS system, process personnel action forms, and maintain employee records
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and compliance
Provide administrative support, including correspondence, reports, and presentations
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide information
Assist with HR projects, such as performance management, policy development, and employee communications
Coordinate DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and maintain related records
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of professional/administrative office experience or HR administration experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Canva experience a plus)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile data and generate reports
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation
