About the Role:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible to manage all Engineering related systems (Electrical and Mechanical) including maintenance, efficiency upgrades, minor projects and lifecycle replacements as well as manage consultants for new and replacement equipment to meet the standards and guidelines of the site.

What You’ll Do:

  • Have good experience in the Electrical design and installation of complex process equipment and systems, preferably within the Aviation Industry.

  • Have experience in High or Medium voltage systems including switch gear, transformers, sub stations etc.

  • Site experience on large Industrial projects, Petro Chemical or oil and gas.

  • Understanding of ATEX systems and the relevant Malaysian codes.

  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building engineering design, construction, and work safety.

  • Understanding or experience with ARC Flash studies and requirements.

  • Inspect the work performed by the project designers and execution contractors to ensure compliance to codes and specifications.

  • Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional, and client space is in prime working condition.

  • Evaluate and select solutions from established options.

  • An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.

  • Requires problem solving skills with the capability to review and give solutions.

  • Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ensure that the correct ITPs are followed, and all required documentation are complete and correct.

About you:

  • Electrical Engineering degree of equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing site.

  • Experience in managing Business Critical Environments

  • Previous experience in managing the delivery of technical services.

  • Well-rounded knowledge base in workplace service solutions including portfolio management, facilities management, energy and sustainability, workplace utilization, and / or infrastructure management.

  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills.

  • Conversant with English writing & speaking.
