Study Group Marketing Manager in Seoul, United States

Location: Seoul, Korea
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of marketing and communications initiatives, in line with the GTM strategy for South Korea, to create awareness of Study Group products, drive demand generation and increase student recruitment.
Leveraging local market and customer insight, and working closely with the Associate Director of Marketing, and corporate marketing and Sales teams, the role will define segmentation and positioning of the product mix, and develop subsequent promotional plans and field marketing activity to drive recruitment
ABOUT THE ROLE
Driving Applicants :
Lead the development of applicant generation plans aligned with the ‘Go-To-Market’ strategy for South Korea, working closely with senior marketing leadership and sales teams.
Oversee the execution of campaigns aimed at driving student applications and generating leads, ensuring a focus on maximizing engagement and conversions.
Conduct comprehensive market research and gather actionable customer insights to inform applicant-focused strategies.
Drive the identification of innovative methods to increase applicant numbers, utilizing both digital and offline channels.
Track, analyze, and report on key metrics related to applicant generation to support ongoing improvements and strategy refinement
Field Marketing and Events:
Manage and direct the planning, execution, and oversight of major on-the-ground marketing activities, including trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and campus events, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
Lead coordination with external agencies and suppliers, ensuring the seamless and timely delivery of marketing materials and successful execution of events, while maintaining high-quality standards and cost-efficiency.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
Take responsibility for leading the evaluation of applicant generation activities, managing the preparation of detailed reports on key metrics, campaign effectiveness, and ROI to inform strategic decisions.
Drive performance improvement by proactively identifying areas for optimization and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance marketing outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced certifications or a Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of progressive experience in marketing or a related role, with proven expertise in applicant generation, multi-channel campaign management, and lead conversion.
Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO, social media management, and marketing automation software.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, provide actionable insights, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of leading and collaborating within cross-functional teams, driving initiatives that span multiple departments.
Deep knowledge of the education industry and international student recruitment, with an understanding of global market trends and the competitive landscape
