The Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry is under unprecedented transformation, as companies rapidly digitize and stream content to interact with consumers in ways never before thought possible. AWS is actively investing in this space and is looking to help M&E customers create and distribute content and interactive experiences faster and easier.

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of the AWS platform by engaging with these types of Companies? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help further establish AWS as a leader in M&E?

And you also will work closely with Media and VFX studios as a customer and partner to modernize its workloads using AWS and to help them grow their businesses.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our customers

  • Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with content production and VFX studio customers

  • Drive deals to closure in through new and renewed business development

  • Understand M&E industry trend in the local and global market to align AWS's offerings

  • Understand AWS's vision, service roadmap, as well as internal process to help customer's success in M&E industry

  • Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals

About the team

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Team Introduction

The Korea M&E team in TMEGS has been working with key M&E companies in the market like broadcasters, publishers, AdTech, OTT, streaming, and Sports in order to help customers' success by innovating their business with AWS.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business

  • 7+ years of direct/in-direct sales or solution sales or business development in M&E industry especially for content production and VFX studios

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
