Amazon SMB Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Description

As the leader of Small to Medium Business, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving adoption and market penetration. This leader will analyze data to extract business insights, develop GTM strategies, scale the business and lead a team of SMB focused on customers' cloud journey. This team will assist prospects to navigate around blockers and sign up with AWS to start their cloud journey. The team will invest efforts to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and collecting their feedback to extract market leading patterns.

Key job responsibilities

· Build and manage the small and mid-sized commercial team

· Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of strategies systems/processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and targets attainment

· Manage the monthly cadenced business reporting to senior leadership and rhythm of business

· Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to the commercial teams and managers

· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets & Ensure customer satisfaction

· Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption

· Manage contract negotiations

About the team

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using data and trends to articulate business needs or equivalent

  • Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales management experience

  • Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
