UL, LLC Sales Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Korea Software Sales Supervisor will be the lead S&A sales leader who has overall responsibility for the successful sale of UL Solutions software products within the Korean market and development and execution of long-term divisional strategy to achieve key business objectives. This position will report directly to Asia Pacific Regional Sales Director and work closely with UL Solutions’ country managing director and global and strategic account leaders to grow software business in the country market.

  • Achieve top line UL Solutions revenue targets within the Korea country market.

  • Execute land and expand strategy increase market penetration.

  • Have thorough knowledge of UL Solutions software products to recognize market and customer dynamics and drivers.

  • Build strong relationships with customers at multiple levels in organization.

  • Focus on customer satisfaction, account growth, and expansion of services provided by S&A and sustaining customer loyalty.

  • Work as One Team with Korea region management and business and account leaders to develop Go-to-Market strategy including individual customer engagement strategy.

  • Understands and effectively leverages customer, industry, and internal sales information to drive performance and sustain a competitive edge.

  • Proactively engage customers and key stakeholders through mulitple channels of engagement including industry associations and conferences.

  • Through effective account planning and sales life cycle management, improve the prospect conversion rate and opportunities close conversion rate.

    Qualifications

  • University bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of experience in sales with prior sales force management experience.

  • Experienced executive in B2B software, consulting, digital and technical solution sales to end customer.

  • Strong technical and business foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, sales tracking, portfolio selling, and measurement.

  • Ability to interact with customers throughout all levels of their organization which include highly visible activities such as negotiating, presenting and selling.

  • Proven experience leading teams, driving new and expansion sales, driving software adoption, and leveraging customer success best practices.

  • Able to collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholders.

  • Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives. Can be a trustworthy partner for customers.

  • Holds strong operational skills that will drive organizational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Willing and able to address escalated client issues with speed and urgency.

  • Ability to work and lead in a matrixed organizational structure.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

  • Strategic and Critical Thinker.

  • Digital and tech-savvy.

  • ESG domain experience will be a plus.

    Preferred Abilities / Experiences

  • Prior experience in managing B2B sales accounts in a global software company.

  • Good understanding of software strategy and decision-making dynamics in major Korean companies.

  • Professional understanding of IT and software strategy and decision making process of key customers in Korea including major conglomerates.

  • Experience in dealing with software relevant to UL Solutions’ key software business areas including product compliance, supply chain, ESG, EHS and renewable energy.

  • Possesses a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams

  • Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives and track successful delivery.
