VELYS Digital Surgery is our connected technologies platform that leverages data insights for patients, surgeons, and healthcare systems pre-operatively, during surgery, and post-operatively. Over time, this platform will encompass both developing technologies and existing solutions that enhance the surgical experience and improve patient outcomes.Johnson & Johnson MedTech Korea is preparing for the launch of VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solutions (RAS) for Knee Restoration in 2024.

As the Sales Manager for VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solutions, you will be responsible for building advocacy and adoption of the VELYS Platform products while driving sustainable financial growth. This role includes establishing and leading a team of product specialists focused on capital and consumables sales, supporting seamless product installation, and collaborating closely with the joint reconstruction sales team to increase the adoption of robotic technology.You will work with Orthopaedics commercial leadership to expand the customer base, building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

[Responsibilities]

- Commercial Leadership : Lead commercialization activities for VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solutions, including developing product launch plans with market opportunity assessments, positioning strategies, and sales models using Launch Excellence.

- Team Leadership : Build and develop the product specialist team, with a focus on capital and service sales strategies, market segmentation, pricing, and lifecycle management to drive growth and profitability.

- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, service & repair, and other key functions to identify and execute on growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with market strategies.

- Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market analysis to quantify sales and profit potential, actively collecting and promoting market intelligence.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain consistent communication with marketing and sales teams to ensure the effective execution of marketing and commercial strategies.

- Launch Execution : Lead and drive new product/software launches through commercial strategies aligned with business goals.

- Sales Training & Compliance : Ensure the delivery of effective sales training programs, manage congress participation, and foster collaboration with professional education initiatives. Uphold J&J Credo Values and maintain high standards of healthcare compliance.

[Requirements]

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; an MBA is preferred.

  • At least 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record in sales.

  • Experience in joint reconstruction (knee/hip) and a strong understanding of orthopaedic procedures is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience in medical capital equipment sales is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with software/digital sales is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying complex technology to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in C-Suite selling and conceptual sales.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.
