Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a License Compliance Sales Executive to join an exciting team of License Compliance. The position will be a part of a team of 9 License Compliance in Korea. The focus of this role will be to develop and execute strategies to ensure the revenue generation of Autodesk's License Compliance software program. Research and identify customers out of compliance. Drive and initiate creative program strategies, collaborates, ensures and influences channel support of the program. Establish and implement guidelines to ensure consistencies while ensuring flexibility in creating and modifying strategy to meet needs of customers. This role will report directly to the Manager of License Compliance Team.

Responsibilities

  • Drives, develops, executes, and monitors License Compliance strategy to meet and exceed revenue plan

  • Identify and capture sales opportunities with existing or new customers who are misusing / using non-genuine Autodesk software

  • Develop and manage pipeline of license compliance opportunities and activities in SFDC

  • Execute sales motions based on outcome-focused conversations with C-Level and Senior Executives across industry segments

  • Lead customers through the LC process by presenting compliance data and audit findings to customers; and negotiating mutually agreed settlement and time frames for purchase execution

  • Engage with C-level to ascertain business needs & risks; and advise on strategic investments required to address these needs.

  • whilst resolving the compliance issues to its fullest and providing high value to the customers

  • May work with a third-party auditing firm to complete remote and on-site audits of customers

  • Understand Autodesk terms of use, high level legal compliance framework for relevant territories; exercise high level judgment and ethics, involving legal teams where required, for customer negotiations

  • Collaborate effectively across multiple teams at Autodesk (Territory, Strategic Territory and mid-market sales, Technical Specialists, Customer Success, Channel Management, and Legal) to ensure alignment on License Compliance engagements

  • Influences channel to get leads; collaborates with sales to drive incremental business in targeted accounts to meet quarterly and annual revenue expectation

  • Collaborates on best practices and drives License Compliance strategies with other geographies; recognize cultural sensitivity and adjust programs to local culture

  • Influences and leverages anti-piracy initiatives i.e., collaborates with Autodesk authorized channel to evangelize Autodesk’s anti-piracy program

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Autodesk software licensing models, and have basic knowledge of Autodesk products, industry trends, and outcomes based selling methods

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in global company environment

  • At least 2-3 years of Inside Sales experience

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience and comfort with communicating and negotiating at executive level

  • Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements and contracts

  • Operation capacity with SFDC (Salesforce)

  • Business English skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of software sales in IT industry

  • Knowledge of Autodesk products

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Autodesk software licensing models, license agreements and contracts. Be a subject matter expert on these topics

  • Maintain basic knowledge of Autodesk products, competition and industry trends along with understanding project delivery methods

  • Understand legal compliance framework and exercising high level judgment for each customer situation the LC Inside Sales Rep is involved in

  • Uses Autodesk License Compliance analytics tools and databases to investigate License Compliance prospects

  • Ability to successfully mitigate complex pushback by customers regarding the compliance situation

  • Drive direct deal closures where the customer has a clear understanding of how the outstanding compliance exposure can be invested in new Autodesk software and technologies

  • Uses Salesforce.com to track all leads, opportunities, activities and results

  • Engages and collaborates with MMA/STA & Territory Sales and Value-Added Resellers where applicable – for example, where there might be up-selling opportunities within the LC matter
