Job Description Summary

This role will be the key member of ASIA operational excellence COE and be responsible for JAKA region fulfilment and process improvement strategy. Working across regional stakeholders and functional leaders you will be integral to the identification and implementation of process improvements through the utilisation of Lean, BI Tools and data analysis. With a key focus on, delivery on time and customer satisfaction metrics.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with logistics leaders to define, drive and complete projects in all areas of logistics operations with a special emphasis on warehouse layout, Flow, Cycle time reduction & productivity. Success measured in Warehouse KPI, Allocation lead times and Goods in transit reduction.

  • Work closely with digital teams and global COE’s to develop systemic solutions for supply chain issues across equipment and services.

  • Develop and maintain regional metrics and scorecards, with an emphasis on creating visibility and alignment with project funnel.

  • Understand key stakeholders’ processes and challenges to prioritize process improvement initiatives aligned with global.

  • Work cross functionally across both Equipment and Services to identify opportunity to align and improve standard work, supporting VCP projects, utilizing project & Lean methodology.

  • Seek, share, and institutionalize best practices working with key stakeholders across the international regional community and global COE’s.

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Support ASIA quality escalations and reporting mechanisms.

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field of study with a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in an operations leadership role (service, supply chain, logistic, manufacturing, materials)

  • Experience implementing Lean thinking in business processes using Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Action Workout, Just Do It in a transactional environment.

  • Strong Program /Project Management and communication skills

  • Experience of leadership role in global and matrix organization

  • External Focus mind set to engage customers satisfaction.

  • Ability to motivate cross functional teams to achieve business goals.

  • Readily and naturally build close relationships with peers and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen.

  • Exceptional skills as a change agent and process oriented individual

  • Experience leading projects and or teams.

  • Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise.

  • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.

  • Lean/Six sigma experience
