IQVIA Director/Associate Director, Strategic Planning & Corporate Development in Seoul, South Korea

Job Overview

• Develops, analyzes, implements, and oversees short-term and long-term strategic business processes and plans to increase operational efficiency, meet organization strategic vision, and achieve financial goals. Monitors industry trends, competitor actions, economic developments, and regulatory environment to identify and plan for expected impact on business operations.

• As part of one of country leadership team members and as a chief staff of the country GM, the candidate should demonstrate business leadership.

• Identifies and analyzes possible mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships to develop recommendations and to project financial impact on the organization's portfolio and capabilities. Plans, directs, and implements all aspects of the acquisition process and collaborates with business leaders to identify, develop, and execute investment and development decisions that support organization growth strategies as well as contributing to effective integration plans.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 10+ years of prior relevant experience.

• Management consulting and corporate strategy/business development experience will be preferred

Essential Functions

• Provide strategic planning, development, and support to business/strategic development initiatives

• Directs the customer account and relationship globally by providing leadership oversight to customers and IQVIA assigned project teams.

• Implement actions from lessons learned, innovation and initiatives across account ensuring global best practice by all team members working on the customer account.

• Establishes governance structures and provides leadership at joint operational and executive meetings

• Optimize product/brand performance for maximum financial returns for IQVIA.

• Leverage IQVIA expertise to the benefit of the product(s) and partnership.

• Liaises with staff responsible for delivery of specific IQVIA services to develop project management systems and processes across internal and external contacts.

• Directs the delivery against key metrics, milestones, and contractual obligations for a portfolio of projects to encompass expectation setting and management against quality, time and financial objectives.

• Recommends strategic programs designed to ensure business partnerships are formed and maintained, and to effectively manage IQVIA unique deal arrangements with partners. Efficiently organizes resources across broad platform of internal and external participants. Recommends programs to achieve growth and financial profitability

• Manage budget process to maximize clinical and commercial programs for optimal financial returns.

• Recommend objectives and long-range plans to achieve stated partnership goals and objectives and create long-term business partnerships for assigned project(s).

• Serves as a primary point of contact and relationship manager for customer.
