Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a talented individual with experience running inbound/outbound demand generation, to join a new team targeted with creating the quality of business opportunities through all inbound leads follow-up and also with creating new demand from prospect customers through 1: many type of outbound programs and direct cold calls to individual prospect.

The ideal candidate will possess both passion for growth in career and technical background that enables them to successfully acquire new customers and build relationships across a defined set of customers. A successful candidate will create the first time engagement with customers and prospects as well as consistently meet and exceed team objectives. The Demand Generation Rep role is done mostly over the phone, email, 1: many sessions. The Demand Gen Rep makes the first touch of customers of various sizes and from various industries.

About the team

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in IT sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales or equivalent certification

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
