Amazon Business Development Manager (Beauty Category), Global Selling Korea in Seoul, South Korea

Amazon Global Selling is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to accelerate K-beauty presence in the Amazon Marketplaces. The BDM will be responsible for developing, connecting, and recruiting KR Beauty manufacturers as Amazon's service provider network. This role will also own to manage & develop seller account strategies especially focused on developing new brand/products in Beauty industry.

This BDM will be responsible for building pipelines for Korea based sellers’ recruitment by conducting in-depth market landscape research and category analysis to craft specific recruitment strategies.

Key job responsibilities

Core responsibilities for this role include:

1) Define, Develop, and connect with key stakeholders in the Beauty Eco-system(Brands, Manufacturer, Service Providers, Government) to drive K-Beauty acceleration and to streamline new beauty seller recruitment/new product development

2) Engage closely with key stakeholders to drive the expansion of Amazon's Service Provider Network pool to improve Seller experience.

3) Analyze customer purchasing data and the market trend data to make recommendations to Sellers about the opportunity of the new product/SKU.

4) Connect the Seller with the multiple stakeholders in the Beauty industry so as to initiate new product development and hand-hold so as to implement actual product launch in Amazon

5) Meet or exceed goals and operational metrics by managing numerous opportunities strategically and concurrently

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of sales, marketing work, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Beauty industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
