AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Sales Representative at AWS, you deliver digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects & developers. In this role, you are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the ISV accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS product and services portfolio to ISVs.

On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Various years of Successful Quota Carrying Sales Experience.

  • Awareness of Latest Technology Trends such as AI, SAAS, Cloud Technologies.

  • High emotional intelligence and experience influencing technology purchase decisions

  • Ability to Establish C-Level Presence and Relationships.

  • Ability to drive large Deal negotiations with customer executives.

  • Experience in full sales cycle, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software-

  • Experience building profitable partner ecosystems experience.

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans.

  • AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS

  • Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
