Sign-On Bonus Details:$10,000 for Graduate Nurses. $20,000 for Registered Nurses with one or more years of RN experience.*Candidates hired into a sign-on bonus-eligible role will be asked to make a two-year work commitment

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with accountability, enthusiasm, and commitment to patients and colleagues.

  • Apply adult learning principles to educate patients, families, and new staff; provide effective teaching for patient care and transitions.

  • Support student, staff, and colleague development through preceptorship and continuous feedback.

  • Use the nursing process and critical thinking to create holistic, patient-centered care plans and communicate effectively with care teams.

  • Ensure comprehensive patient documentation to promote collaboration among caregivers.

  • Engage in professional development and shared governance to improve care quality and the practice environment.

  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and adapt to changes in care processes.

  • Utilize research and evidence-based practices to enhance clinical care and patient outcomes

  • Excel in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Provide comprehensive care for a diverse range of diagnoses, with exposure to various complex patient conditions and care scenario

  • Strong relationship-building, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills.

  • Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, and patient positioning.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire or transfer.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) within 6 months of hire or transfer.

  • Registered Nurse (RN) OR Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)

  • Act 34

  • OAPSA
