Job Summary

Functions as an interface between engineering and the downstream process partners such as operations, procurement, supply chain and manufacturing. Ensures engineering changes and new releases are properly procured and implemented with the right parts at the right time.

What you will do

• Analyzes product design and development changes for production and new product implementation (NPI).

• Ability to lead meetings and communicate to downstream process partners. Ensure effective coordination of product changes to downstream process partners.

• Reviewing released engineering change data and changing documentation activities to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and regulations.

• Ensure timely and error free manufacturing release of engineering design implementation through new release and engineering changes; avoiding negative impact to inventory.

• Ability to analyze and resolve manufacturing system errors and exceptions.

What you Will Have

• Degree or equivalent experience desired

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

• Communication: Understanding of the importance of insightful listening and communicating and ability to provide information and messages in a way that produces clarity and impact.

• Change Control - MFG: Knowledge of the processes and procedures by which a change is identified, evaluated, approved, monitored and documented; ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively.

• Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
