Key Responsibilities:

  • Individualized Counseling: Utilize expertise to provide personalized counseling to meet unique student needs and achieve treatment goals, offered conveniently at school sites during operating hours.

  • Caseload Management: Establish and efficiently manage caseloads per supervisory guidelines.

  • Academic Success Support: Offer prevention, intervention, and support services to identified students, reducing barriers and enhancing academic achievements.

  • Collaborative Treatment Planning: Participate in client staffing, establish treatment goals/objectives per Burrell guidelines, and manage assigned cases.

  • Emergency Response: Provide swift aid during emotional crises, ensuring immediate student support and care.

  • Comprehensive Follow-Up: Provide or coordinate thorough follow-up services for all clients, ensuring continuity of care.

  • Community Resource Coordination: Collaborate with school counselors to coordinate student support and facilitate access to community resources.

  • Clinical Assessment and Intervention: Conduct clinical assessments and deliver interventions to students/families at school sites.

  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison, enabling seamless coordination of care for all family members.

Education or Experience:

  • Possess (or soon to possess) licensure as one of the following:

  • Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Note: Burrell offers complimentary licensure supervision for PLPC and LMSW. Salary increases upon obtaining LPC or LCSW after completing the no-cost supervision program.

  • Preferred experience in providing family, individual, and group therapy, as well as community education.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
