ZT Group Int'l, Inc. dba ZT Systems seeks a Warehouse Manager in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: • Participate in the operational efficiency improvements, cost reduction efforts, and streamlining initiatives. • Develop new and enhance existing operational/ network models to improve efficiency, customer experience, speed, and/or drive potential savings. • Analyze problems and develop possible solution. • Provide financial and other management score-card metric information to senior leadership. • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, and paid time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling. • Communicate issues pertaining to the work order picked/issued to warehouse team. • Perform root cause problem analysis on quality issues and assist with the documentation and corrective action process to prevent re-occurrence of problems. • Research inventory discrepancies with MRB (repair), determine the cause and recommend necessary adjustments. • Organize and manage all MRB area physical inventories for monthly audits. • Make inventory record adjustments for MRB based on authorization from management. • Ensure compliance to all local, state and federal regulatory agencies (AIB, OSHA, etc.) • Develop procedures, standards and best practices for the movement and management of inventory assets to include but not limited to monthly reconciliation of inventory and current andforecasted pallet positions. Supervises 1 or more direct reports in the role(s) of Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Coordinator, Material Handler, and Warehouse Clerk.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in related production or warehouse roles.This role requires 5 years of experience in each of the following:• Manufacturing operations and processes;• Collaborating with large teams in manufacturing environment, and inventory transactions;• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;• Working collectively with planning, quality, manufacturing and warehouse in a fast-paced production environment;• Overseeing and analyzing replenishments of inventory using forecasting and percentage yield data;• Establishing and determining KPI (Key Performance Indicators) such as swap turnaround time, stock transfer order request to receive turnaround time, and tracking percentage of error of forecasting;• Completing CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives;• Referencing historical MRS (Material Review Station) case data for forecasting purposes, such as for SKU failures, inventory levels, and optimal staffing levels;• Analyzing TAT (Turn Around Time) and other metrics for MRS (Material Review Station) Processes;• Generating and troubleshooting variance reports to determine root causes and drive preventative actions;• ERP systems: WMS or SAP;• Inventory systems;• Lean and Six Sigma; and• Project management.In Lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in related production or warehouse roles, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in related production or warehouse roles.This role requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:• Manufacturing operations and processes;• Collaborating with large teams in manufacturing environment, and inventory transactions;• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;• Working collectively with planning, quality, manufacturing and warehouse in a fast-paced production environment;• Overseeing and analyzing replenishments of inventory using forecasting and percentage yield data;• Establishing and determining KPI (Key Performance Indicators) such as swap turnaround time, stock transfer order request to receive turnaround time, and tracking percentage of error of forecasting;• Completing CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives;• Referencing historical MRS (Material Review Station) case data for forecasting purposes, such as for SKU failures, inventory levels, and optimal staffing levels;• Analyzing TAT (Turn Around Time) and other metrics for MRS (Material Review Station) Processes;• Generating and troubleshooting variance reports to determine root causes and drive preventative actions;• ERP systems: WMS or SAP;• Inventory systems;• Lean and Six Sigma; and• Project management.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.40 hours/week, $104,912 - $128,125 per year.
