The role you’ll contribute:

This is an entry level cook/baker position. Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and/or baking of all hot foods including entrees, vegetables, starches, etc. for the department. This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of product, efficient utilization of time and cost containment.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones,

· Cleans and sanitizes all work environments,

· Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery,

· Modifies any food to meet various diets as required,

· Serves on patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery as directed,

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Previous cook/baker experience
