Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance: This role is part of the Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance team. This team is focused on monitoring and assessing processes that guide Blue Origin's design, manufacturing, and operations, ensuring system safety engineering, environmental health, and safety, product integrity, and continuous improvement processes. As part of hardworking team of diverse specialists and engineers, you will develop and execute processes for the design, test and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and related technologies for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Supplier Quality Management processes. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight from one of the Blue Origin manufacturing site locations. Special Mentions Relocation provided Travel expected up to 50% of the time Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform and maintain Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) impact reviews and Notification of Escapes (NOEs) from supply base. Communicate the results of the GIDEP and NOE reviews with leadership, including program stakeholders and suppliers. Controlling the process for tracing and containing materials affected by the notifications. Record keeping for all activities accomplished around containing any affected products. Participate in supplier pre-ship reviews, quality audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years industry experience in a manufacturing field with at least 2 years direct experience with GIDEP. Travel expected up to 50% of the time and have a valid driver's license. Quality assurance experience in an aerospace production environment, including relevant experience in AS9100 requirements and auditing techniques. Strong communication skills with various organizations. Self-initiation and excellent time management skills. Proficiencies to stay closely connected to your leadership structure and operational customers. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications Background and experience with Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP). Relevant experience in driving Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities related to Notification of Escapes (NOEs). Relevant experience in transitioning a product from development through production operations.
