Seattle Children’s Hospital Supervisor, Pharmacists - Hematology/Oncology in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising assigned team members and to coordinate and lead the training and quality improvement efforts related to all aspects of medication use. Responsible for the development of performance standards, maintaining and developing policies and procedures, and serving as the clinical and technical expert in designated practice areas. Coordinates and supervises the proper usage and distribution of medications to pediatric patients. Provides information to parents, patients, and staff concerning dosage, interactions, incompatibilities, adverse effects, administration, and appropriate use of medications. Job Posting Addendum: The Cancer and Blood Disorder Center pharmacist supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of pharmacists caring for inpatient and outpatient hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant patients. Collaboration within the pharmacy department and interdisciplinary teams is at the forefront of this position. The CBDC pharmacist supervisor aids in optimization of the chemothearpy medication use process and clincal care of pediatric patients. Requirements: Required Education/Experience: - Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy. - Five (5) years experience working as a pharmacist. Required Credentials: - Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacist. Preferred: - Prior supervisory or leadership experience. - Pediatric hospital pharmacy experience and/or Pediatric Residency Training. - Licensed pharmacy preceptor. #LI-NB1 Min to Max Hourly Salary: $71.61 - $107.41 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $148,943.00 - $223,415.00 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
