This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates will be required to visit the office and travel to the firm when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA from an accredited institution

  • Years of experience:

  • 4 years, post-B.A. in management consulting, strategy consulting, and/or operations consulting; or,

  • 2 years, post-M.B.A., in management consulting, strategy consulting, and/or operations consulting; or,

  • Comparable and relevant experience

  • Experience with project management, presentations, word processing and writing, and data/financial analysis

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Demonstrated team player with a growth mindset, strong critical thinking skills, a problem-solving mentality, strong communication skills, the ability to take ownership of and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment, the ability to effectively adapt to and simultaneously manage competing priorities, and a great work ethic

Preferred Requirements:

  • Management, strategy, and/or operations consulting experience within/for BigLaw, or within/for large non-legal professional services firms, is strongly preferred

  • Prior experience working with C-suite executives is strongly preferred

What will your day look like?

As a Strategy Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Business Affairs and Strategy to i) define and structure organizational strategy, ii) execute high-profile, firm-level strategic initiatives, and iii) respond and drive forward ad-hoc requests related to the Business Affairs and Strategy function as needed.

You will work closely with the Director of Business Affairs and Strategy to set up and execute a program management structure for the organization’s strategic planning processes for one of the organization’s two verticals. This will include facilitating the planning and execution of strategy sessions, driving forward strategic plan development and execution, setting up formal tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, and ensuring that the overall program is executed against agreed-upon goals.

You will manage high-impact strategic initiatives that are top priority for the organization, collaborating closely with the Director of Business Affairs and Strategy and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. You will execute change throughout the organization by deploying best practices in change management. You will ensure the efficient and effective execution of special projects, meet established timelines, and deliver measurable impact on firm performance. You will drive innovative solutions and approaches to address complex business challenges, and learn to leverage a deep understanding of the industry and professional trends and best practices.

Finally, you will respond to and drive forward ad-hoc requests related to the Business Affairs & Strategy function as needed, demonstrating flexibility and agility in addressing the firm’s strategic needs.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $111,404 – $165,719 per year. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected annual pay range is $116,248 - $172,924 per year. If hired to work in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Seattle the expected annual pay range is $106,561 - $158,514 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
