Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Worldwide Customer Service in Seattle, Washington

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to join the Voice of Customer (VOC) team within Worldwide Customer Service (CS) organization. We are a cross-functional product, program, science, and engineering team who own a suite of world-class products and services focused on delivering real-time customer sentiment, feedback, and insights to leaders across Amazon.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the vision and product roadmap for Amazon’s flagship suite of Voice of Customer (VOC) tools and services. You will lead requirements gathering, prioritization of feature development, and own driving product metrics and business outcomes. You will partner closely with program managers, business leaders, and software engineers, as well as our data and research science teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and launch new products and features that deliver valuable customer insights to decision makers and drive large-scale business impacts.

Key job responsibilities

  • Dive deep with your customers to identify and understand their pain points.

  • Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points.

  • Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions.

  • Write press releases that clearly state the business case and imagine what our customers will say when they are excited when they use your products.

  • Deliver products on time with the right feature set and high quality.

  • Evangelize your products and drive adoption.

  • Think through all aspects of your products' life cycles, incl. business, technical, legal, and marketing.

  • Help others grow professionally.

A day in the life

On a daily basis, in addition to working with teams within CS and VOC, you'll have a chance to work across the many teams, functions, and business verticals that contribute to Amazon’s growth. You will work closely with senior leaders across Amazon to drive collaboration and influence them to prioritize projects, meet objects and adhere to business plans towards shared objectives. You will be responsible for key workstreams including product strategy and delivery, stakeholder updates, monthly roadmap reviews, business reviews and organizational goal setting.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
