Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Store Presentation Foundation in Seattle, Washington

As a Senior Product Manager - Tech within the Store Presentation Foundations organization, you will contribute to the next generation of testing for Amazon.

In this role, you will drive the strategy and roadmap for Store Test Service, a centralized testing service that enables end-to-end cross-platform testing with write mostly once capabilities using a common test step library implemented as a managed service, eliminating the need for teams to build and maintain their own automated testing infrastructure library. You will provide leadership on complex issues, driving both the product and engineering strategy, and be responsible for high-judgement decisions. A successful candidate is expected to be a strategic leader with strong product acumen that can effectively lead product to set and deliver on a vision. They will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and thrive in fast paced environments. As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you will be part of the larger Store Presentation Foundation leadership community that drives the strategy for the central infrastructure for Amazon Stores. You will work closely with senior leaders, influence our long-term strategy, and ultimately increase Amazon’s ability innovate rapidly. With strong product instincts, technical expertise, and sound judgement, you’ll be able to make meaningful, worldwide impact.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and stakeholder partnership to drive adoption of our products.

  • Lead and grow a team to deliver on the strategic vision.

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

  • Own the communication with leadership and WW partner teams.

  • Create buy-in for the product vision, both internally and with key external partners.

  • Create and execute the near and long term roadmap for the team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
