Amazon Sr Manager, Product Management, US Prime in Seattle, Washington
Description
US Prime is seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior Manager of Product Management to lead strategic Prime Segments in the US. Amazon Prime was launched in the US in 2005 as a subscription service, and has since evolved to serve diverse member segments with varying needs and preferences. We have successfully grown our membership base across different demographics and life stages, with particular focus on strategic segments such as students and young adults. We are seeking a senior product leader who can drive segment strategy, and reinvent our segment-specific offerings.
As the Senior Manager of Product Management for US Prime Segments, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented product managers to develop and execute segment-specific strategies that will enable us to grow the size and engagement of the Prime membership base in the US. You will lead the team to develop segment-specific product roadmaps, performance mechanisms, and metrics to track and optimize the impact of our targeted offerings on Prime membership growth and engagement. You will work with WW Prime and North American Stores Marketing Technology product teams to develop the products required to deliver personalized experiences to different member segments. You will partner with US Prime marketing to develop annual and quarterly product strategies and go-to-market plans for reaching and engaging specific member segments. You will work with data scientists to develop our ability to measure the impact of segment-specific initiatives on member acquisition and retention. As a senior product leader, you will regularly present segment performance, strategic opportunities, and product roadmaps to senior leadership teams across Amazon.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leading product management teams and managing complex product deliverables across a wide variety of functional stakeholders. You will have experience developing product strategies, insights, and mechanisms that align multi-functional partners against segment-specific objectives. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and present to senior leadership, including the ability to distill complex segment data into clear strategic narratives. You will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability and desire to dive deep when necessary to audit and optimize product performance and processes. You will have experience working with and developing win/win product solutions across different business units to serve specific customer segments.

This role reports to the Director of US Prime, who reports to the VP of US Prime and Marketing Technology (UPMT). This role has 5 direct reports and is an extended member of the WW Prime Segments team. This role partners with North American Stores Marketing, Marketing Technology, and key internal teams focused on serving specific member segments. As a senior product leader in this highly visible area, you will regularly present to and interact with S-team members and other senior leaders across Amazon, helping shape the strategic direction of Prime Segments.

This role partners with North American Stores Marketing, Corporate Business Development, and key Benefit partners such as Delivery Experience (DEX) and Prime Video. This role will work on projects that have visibility at the S-team level of leadership at Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of team management experience
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA

Do you have 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience?
Do you have experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization?

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
