We are seeking a strategic and driven Sr. Manager to lead our Data Sciences & Analytics team within the Business Operations organization. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for developing the strategy focused on the creation and implementation of data-driven initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This will also include building a team to execute that strategy. You will spearhead initiatives that integrate advanced analytics into our business processes, foster a data-oriented culture, and ensure that data insights translate into actionable business value. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building a high-performing team and analytics platform that captures and reports on critical business performance metrics focused on Operational Efficiency Metrics, including but not limited to, production rates, production costs, quality, scheduling, and workforce productivity. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics, visualization, and your understanding of the manufacturing and aerospace domain knowledge to provide actionable insights. Special Mentions: Relocation Provided. Location: Any of the major manufacturing sites (WA, FL, or AL). Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop and oversee the organization's data analytics roadmap to align with business and operational goals. Leading, mentoring, and managing a diverse team of Data Analysts, while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team culture Driving strategic decisions through in-depth data exploration and analysis Possess exceptional problem-solving skills to be able to assess and navigate complex data problems with creativity and analytical rigor. Keen eye for detail to interpret data deeply and ensure displayed metrics drive the right behavior. Accurately understand and transform business requirements into actionable data visualizations. Lead initiatives around advanced analytics, including machine learning, AI, and statistical modeling. Develop dashboards and automated reporting to monitor trends and results Communicate findings and results to executive leadership in a clear and actionable way Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field years of experience writing production-grade code in a modern programming language. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or supply chain analytics. 3+ years of experience managing data science, analytics, or cross-functional technical team. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g. Python, SQL). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI). Familiarity with big data platforms, and cloud technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated strong project management and prioritization abilities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage cross- functional projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business impact through data. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
