The vision of the Amazon Exports team is to enable customers from anywhere in the world to purchase any product that we offer globally, through a localized experience at a competitive price and with a superior delivery experience. Amazon’s global presence continues to grow quickly, offering millions of products to customers in more than 240 global destinations. To drive this growth, we must identify, invest in, and manage our most strategic export destinations. We are looking for a dynamic and organized self-starter to join us as a Strategic Country Manager.

On the Amazon Exports team, you will own the business inputs (e.g. traffic drivers, cross-border selection, delivery performance) and outputs (e.g., conversion, revenue, profitability), while tracking outside factors that impact demand (e.g., competitive landscape, macro-economic trends). You will work cross-functionally with the marketing, business development, logistics, finance, and business intelligence teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives. You will monitor performance on a weekly and monthly cadence, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards.

This is a high-impact role with goals that directly impacts both the top line and bottom line of the overall business. The successful candidate will demonstrate both strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills. Additionally, we are seeking someone with P&L ownership experience, strong communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment and highly ambiguous work space. This role may require occasional international travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level

  • Experience owning and managing a P&L

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

  • Ability to write and edit basic SQL queries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
