Business & Product Operations (BPO) is a diverse team that supports infrastructure and other foundational initiatives that span and support Sales, Marketing and Global Support teams within AWS.

BPO needs a creative, dynamic and results driven business intelligence professional who wants to build and create the data and metrics framework that will support BPO’s operations globally. This role is a critical part of the team that is launching the latest services into the market and ensuring that our customers get to experience our full range of products first hand before they buy. This job requires a strong sense of ownership and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

• Think strategically to support the organization’s leadership in managing their business and making strong data driven decisions.

• Strong collaboration with colleagues across the organization. Able to dive deep into a process and connect the dots with the bigger picture.

• Develop data visualization dashboards and data models that are reviewed by senior managers, directors, and VPs.

• Develop strong forecasting and capacity planning for the organization.

• Ability to develop metrics, data cleansing, and data collection.

• Deliver regular reporting with high quality and easily digestible.

• Strong organization skills.

• Support teammates and the organization’s team members through mentorship and developing documentation.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Intermediate proficiency in analytical tools including SQL, R, Python, Excel VBA and/or Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, Amazon QuickSight). You have experience leveraging these tools to manipulate and analyze data for driving organization wide data driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
