Amazon Sr Business Development Manager, High Value Emerging Brands in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon is seeking an ambitious, experienced talent to help drive the growth of a newly formed team to recruit, manage, and activate high value emerging brands across North America. With your strong background in business management and relationships, you’ll play a critical role in new business opportunities.

Leveraging deep knowledge of brands and cultural trends, and a solution-oriented mindset, you will identify emerging revenue opportunities for Amazon across all major verticals. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively cross-functional teams. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

Key job responsibilities

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments combined with strong commercial and business instincts.

· Experience managing the sales funnel and closing new business through strategic partnerships and negotiations.

· Acts as the primary contact for those relationships ensuring maximum client satisfaction.

· Proven self-starter with a bias for action who can make things happen when faced with ambiguity.

· Innovative thinker who looks around corners and thinks "outside the box".

· Experience of working cross-functionally in a very collaborative environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
