As a Solutions Engineer II focused Salesforce administrator for the Ad Platform technology team within DMED Ad Platforms, you are part of a high performing team redefining TV advertising. We are looking for an experienced Salesforce administrator who will oversee multiple instances of Salesforce, which are the foundation of the Disney Ad Sales team’s opportunity management and workflow. The Salesforce admin role will focus on supporting and improving core Disney Ad Sales pipeline capabilities. From a support perspective, the role will be responsible for the intake of end user requests to update data, troubleshoot bugs, and oversee user provisioning, each following a strict change management process as defined by internal compliance groups. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders to perform analysis for technical issues as well as drive strategic decision making. We are seeking a candidate who has proven problem solving skills, a sense of urgency, experience with Salesforce as a platform, advertising sales, and complex data systems. The team is fast moving and requires you to translate data into business impact, while efficiently working with leaders across sales, finance, product, operations and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support lead for Sales, Sales Ops, and Finance within the Salesforce application.

  • Collaboratively investigate and resolve platform bugs, ensuring system stability.

  • Communicate planned/ unplanned downtime for Salesforce application functionality including integrations with external platforms.

  • Define and document the data migration strategy for data conversion activities into Salesforce. (validating data accuracy, executing)

  • Assist with successful UAT, QA and Regression testing, a request is made to CAB for change to Production.

  • Maintain global UI configurations accessible only to admin level users. Updates are made via a strict change management approval and documentation process.

  • Triage escalations via JIRA ticket submission and manage issues from submission through resolution.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to productize and streamline operational inefficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in ad technology, operations or support, preferably with focus in advertising technology.

  • Salesforce Admin Certification

  • 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce administration.

  • Working knowledge of SOQL, Dataloader, workbench or similar technologies.

  • Experience using Excel.

  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycles.

  • Experience using Copado

  • ​​Methods and procedures involved in the technical administration of software applications which includes the installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, documentation and coordination.

  • Strong experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise level applications.

  • Ability to work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously

  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure components such as server, storage, network, database, virtualization, operating systems and cloud technology.

  • Proven understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Have a “do what it takes” attitude. Be flexible, adaptable and a team-player first.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Needs to demonstrate the ability to build consensus and support from the Ad Platforms organization on the solutions being proposed.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, relevant technical field, or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $102,500 to $1370,500 per year, in Seattle, Washington is $107,400 to $143,900 per year, and in New York City, NY is $107,400 to $143,900. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
