Job title: Software Engineer (S1127)

Job Description: Working independently, design & develop software applications or systems. Develop and enable technology that powers messaging, queueing, and streaming for several products in the cloud and on-prem.  Design technical implementations for new features. Implement new features and test and analyze performance of existing and new features. Identify and fix bugs discovered during use and/or testing. Write unit tests, integration tests and collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to ensure features quality. Innovate and contribute to product road map. Own a set of product/service features, connectors, tests and/or modules. Validate skills in load testing, performance tuning, monitoring, and measuring.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in job offered or in a software development role.
• Education or experience to include: Java; Apache Pulsar or Rabbit MQ or Apache Kafka; Object-oriented programming; Docker or Kubernetes; Shell Scripts or Python or Unix/Linux; SQL or NoSQL or New SQL; Load testing, performance tuning, and monitoring.
