David Evans and Associates Smart Mobility Senior Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

DEA's Seattle, WA office is hiring for a Smart Mobility Senior Project Manager. The responsibilities will be diverse and will include working on a variety of traffic engineering design and analysis projects. This role will manage project teams and tasks for transportation projects that may involve traffic design and studies. The position will also have the opportunity to mentor team members and help grow the team and overall DEA Smart Mobility group. Responsibilities will be diverse and will include, but not be limited to, the following: Managing traffic design and study tasks or projects of varying degrees including scope, schedule, budget, QC and financial management Overseeing, designing, or reviewing design plans, specifications, and estimates (PSE&E) and serving as the engineer of record for traffic design aspects of projects (signing and striping, signals, temporary traffic control) Building relationships with clients and peers in the industry Mentoring and training junior staff Serving as Project Manager for traffic focused projects Serving as Deputy PM or Task Lead on larger multi-discipline projects Leading/supporting pursuits of new work as a member of Client Teams Attending and/or leading client and project team meetings to provide project updates, resolve design issues, and coordinate design elements with other disciplines Leading and supporting transit projects and pursuits in conjunction with our transit and rail group, focused on bus rapid transit and transit signal priority.
