JPMorgan Chase & Co. Site Reliability Engineer [MR-SR-SR-0949] in Seattle, Washington

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

DUTIES: Develop new cloud engineering strategies and implementations. Responsible for ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and platform. Develop observability and telemetry tools. Develop tools to analyze platform data. Apply automation and machine learning to solve automated intelligent solutions for cloud platform. Ensure cloud platform is secure and meets regulatory and compliance requirement.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Computer System/Network Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Computer System/Network Engineer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Docker; JSON; UNIX; Microservices; REST; Shell Scripting; GIT; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Kubernetes; Python; SOAP and REST web services; Hadoop; Linux; Software Development; SQL; Cybersecurity; system design and architecture; machine learning; artificial intelligence; and data science.
