This position serves as a key leader in the planning, development, and growth of qualitative research studies at Seattle Children's.

Job activities include:

Working independently to provide qualitative support and expertise to scientific projects through consulting, designing, coordinating and performing qualitative analyses.

Participating in and/or leading the development of qualitative research projects (including but not limited to study design and protocol development), planning and executing qualitative research, providing oversight throughout the course of the study, and participating in grant development and manuscripts.

Conducting methodological research to adapt new methods for complex analysis and study design of qualitative and mixed methods research.

Training others in the research community and within individual research teams on qualitative methodologies and analyses, including faculty, staff, and trainees.

Required Education and Experience

Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Services, or scientific related field. Minimum of eight (8) years of related research experience with Master’s degree or six (6) years with PhD. Qualitative Project Management experience. Experience with advanced qualitative methods. Qualitative Software Experience using Atlas.ti, Nvivo, and/or Dedoose.

Pediatric research experience. Experience as a project or study team leader. Teaching or training experience. Consulting experience in qualitative research design and analysis. Interview and focus group experience.

Compensation Range

$123,094.00 - $184,642.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
