Amazon Senior Product Manager, Home Categories in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Home categories have seen tremendous growth the last few years, particularly with online shopping for home selection. In the absence of the ability to see, touch and feel the product, robust product visualization options help bolster purchase confidence. Amazon is seeking a customer-obsessed, strategic, and data-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our visualization improvement initiatives for the Home categories. You will work with several engineering, imaging, category teams and selling partners to both improve coverage across various imaging types (2D, 360, 3D, Video), in parallel to driving initiatives to improve the visualization experience in our store.

The successful leader thrives in a fast-paced environment with a lot of white space, and embraces the opportunity to pioneer new ideas and operationalize them quickly and effectively. They will be data-driven and passionate about improving the Home Shopping Experience through visualization in our store.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the Visualization product roadmap for the US Home, Furniture and Kitchen categories, inclusive of securing joint goals with partner teams, milestone tracking and reviews with Senior Management and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Work closely with a variety of engineering and imaging teams, retail categories, and selling partners.

  • Monitor and audit business KPI and project execution

  • Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems

  • Measure experiment results and present analysis for launch decisions

  • Own quarterly business reviews with Senior Management and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Craft program reviews docs, and write proposals for new features and tests, backed by data-driven insights

  • Be a passionate advocate for improving the Home Customer Experience in our store through visualization

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
