AWS Applications and Higher Level Abstractions (Apps) provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Applications group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.

As a PLM/PDM Product Manager you will be responsible for a team that provides seamless, rapid and global implementation of material, BOMs, and product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements. Additionally, you will support global master data setup for the products from early development through EOL. We are looking for an individual that creates an environment and coaches the team to be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive process improvement, and long for the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.

Organization-wide lead for master data maintenance and escalations.

Interface with all necessary individuals in supporting departments in order to accurately process changes and structure new products.

Analyze problems of diverse scope to identify solutions.

Implement and support Agile, ECO CM processes

Drive team and organization to meet KPIs for Configuration Management processes.

Lead continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.

Experience maintaining and administering CAD and PDM systems, including driving standards and procedures.

Assist with PDM workflow creation and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

• Experience managing technical products or online services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
