Amazon Senior Finance Manager, Selling Partner Services Finance in Seattle, Washington
Description
WW Selling Partner Services’ (SPS) mission is to enable the long-term success of our selling partners by providing the most trusted shopping and selling experience and by providing powerful solutions for accelerating our selling partners’ business growth. The US Seller Business organization within SPS is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the US Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) programs.
We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to lead the US Seller Business Finance. With Sellers contributing to over 50% of Amazon’s online sales, this business is large in scale and pivotal to Amazon’s ability to offer a vast selection of products at low prices to customers. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will manage a small team and work closely with our Selection, Pricing, and Category teams, as well as interact with leaders in Sales, Account Management, and Operations. You will be responsible for partnering with the business to identify and drive growth and profit improvement initiatives to expand a multi-Billion dollar business.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical background, track record of strategic business partnership, and ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. The candidate must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to understand topline and cost drivers, and deliver high quality insights to senior leaders to influence growth programs.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the finance leader for US Seller Business team
Present US 3P business performance and lead monthly P&L reviews with leadership
Develop metrics and reporting to derive insights on financial and business performance
Oversee creation of quarterly forecasts and long-range plans for key topline and input metrics
Lead ad-hoc cost benefit analyses, financial modeling, and business case development to support new initiatives and business decisions
Manage variable headcount and operating expense budgeting for the team
Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 10+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of finance experience
5+ years of direct management experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
8+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
