lululemon USA Inc. Senior Engineer II in Seattle, Washington

Senior Engineer II, lululemon usa inc., Seattle, WA. Use algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to create, test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services. Build and extend software applications in varying (cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise) environments. Ensure applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Provide DevOps thought leadership in delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of lululemon's end-users and how they are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach. Collaborate with the engineering teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver on integration projects. Engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and security. Design for release and configuration management. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues. Work with Managers and Directors to ensure that product development is appropriately funded and well defined for yearly/quarterly planning initiatives. The Senior Engineer II is a regular presence in Architecture and Engineering review boards and leads these efforts for their product.

Telecommuting permitted up to 100%. Candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S.

40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Information Technology OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of work experience in Information Technology.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:

  • Java
  • Angular or React
  • Spring boot
  • Kubernetes
  • Kafka

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in AWS or GCP, including at least 2 of the following: S3, Cognito, EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Google Storage, Identity Platform, Google Cloud Functions, Google Computer Engine, or Cloud SQL

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of technology experience in the retail industry, including Material creation, Finished Goods, and/or Raw Material sourcing/costing.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience working with Product Management or Business Analysis teams to build roadmaps and refine stories/tasks.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience providing feedback to junior software engineers and making sure they follow engineering standards and best practices.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Compensation and Benefits Package For Washington Applicants: lululemon's compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $185,000.00 -- $205,000.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
