Job Title: Security Design Engineer

Job Description

A growing multi-disciplinary design-build company is seeking a Security Design Engineer for numerous upcoming projects in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in telecom design, be familiar with Revit, and come from electrical experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry to mid-level designer to grow into a Project Manager role within 2 years at a company that highly values employee growth, career goals, and the relationships they build with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security systems and controls.

• Produce projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Work on data center projects, including those involving security alarms and technology.

• Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate security systems with electrical design.

• Manage and execute telecom design projects.

• Ensure projects meet client requirements and industry standards.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in telecom design.

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Experience in electrical engineering.

• Experience with security systems, controls, and CCTV.

• Ability to produce detailed design projects.

• Knowledge of security alarm systems and technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with data centers, preferably Meta data centers.

• RCDD Certification.

This role offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working remotely.
