ABOUT YOU

This paid-intern position provides real-world work experience where you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of 3D scanning and model analysis. You will have the opportunity to learn hands-on skills in 3D scanning technology, software tools for model analysis, and project management. Working closely with our team, you'll contribute to real-world projects gaining valuable insights into the applications of 3D scanning in the biotech industry. Experience and skills needed to be successful in this position

  • Prior experience with 3D scanning or CAD software is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain 3D scanner equipment.
  • Work under the supervision of the engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Perform scanning tasks according to project schedules and deadlines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of scanned data.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the 3D scanning process.
  • Assist in the integration of scanned products with existing CAD models.
  • Document scanning procedures and results.

Seasonal Employment Term

This is a temporary job that is designed to accommodate a student who is looking for approximately 10-12 weeks of employment during their summer break. We prefer an applicant who can commit to a minimum of 10 weeks either part-time or full-time, but we are open to considering a shorter or longer term. The opportunity is scheduled to begin in June 2024.

Work environment information

  • Sitting and standing during workday.
  • Our facility includes a BSL-2 laboratory; however, this position will not include work that takes place in the lab.

Wage/Benefits information

Hourly rate of pay $19.97/per hour.
