Amazon Sales Operations Manager, Strategic Account Services (SAS) in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with Selling Partners to enable more selection, reduce defects, and drive growth across their businesses. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes and people to enhance the services we offer, improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and build scalable solutions.

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to 1) manage sales recruitment pipelines and billing processes for SAS programs, 2) maintain data hygiene and provide reporting to inform business decisions, and 3) drive process improvements to increase SAS productivity.

In this role, you will be supporting the Seller Recruitment and Experience (SRE) team on program recruitment and communications for our sellers. You should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. A proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage sales pipelines, seller onboarding processes, and billing operations for SAS programs

  • Create sales, onboarding, and billing CRM reporting to inform business decisions

  • Author and deliver executive level reporting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses and automations.

  • Define and measure operational efficiencies and drive improvements against it

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to define needs and deliver holistic solutions

  • Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Program Leaders, Tech teams, etc.)

  • Connect process, tech, and people together to create streamlined operations for the team

  • Manage multiple projects gracefully and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

A day in the life

  • Directly interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete sales automation solutions.

  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for recruitment, onboarding, and billing purposes

  • Govern CRM operations (e.g. Salesforce and internal billing tools)

  • Work closely with Sales, Program Management, and CRM teams

  • Drive process improvements through Kaizens and Tech teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Operations Management or a related field.

  • 3+ years proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion.

  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce

  • Proven excellent communication skill (written and verbal) and/or confidence in communicating in a cross-cultural setting and enforcing difficult business decisions

  • Internal and external customer-focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to excel and go above and beyond expectations.

  • Independent and Entrepreneurial – ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results while managing multiple projects and operational task expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation.

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

  • Experience in data modeling and Excel

  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
