WORK SCHEDULE
Part time / 60% FTE
Day shifts only (8:00am - 4:30pm)
3 days per week, Monday-Friday only DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Bone and Joint Center provides comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, with a key focus on the spine, hip and knees. Our board-certified specialists treat complex injuries and chronic conditions, including osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. We also provide shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgeries, as well as minimally invasive arthroscopies. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Great opportunity for RNs who enjoy patient education PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work alongside a team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and rehabilitation medicine physicians
Provide patient education, pre-operative teaching, and general nursing care
Monitor patient flow
Perform triage
Coordinate medical and nursing care across the UW Medicine system
Document patient care outcomes in our EHR system (Epic) REQUIREMENTS
2 years of recent medical-surgical or ambulatory nursing experience
Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
